In seinem hauseigenen App Store bietet Amazon am ersten und zweiten Weihnachtsfeiertag 19 sonst kostenpflichtige Games und Applikationen kostenlos an. Darüber hinaus gibt es bei dem Online-Händler einige Titel stark ermäßigt.
Neben der "Gratis-App des Tages" Angry Birds Star Wars 2 sind die Highlights der App-Weihnachtsgeschenke am ersten Feiertag Sonic The Hedgehog 2, SPC – Music Sketchpad 2 und Photo Studio PRO.
